L.Brador initiated a charity project for “Musikhjälpen 2018” together with the construction students at Tingsholmgymnasiet in Ulricehamn. During the upcoming month the students are building the L.Brador Kids House whereas all funds for the project is sent directly to Radiohjälpen and Musikhjälpen, supporting the theme “Everyone is entitled to function differently”.
– We started supporting the students this fall when the school started a new construction program, providing them with workwear and safety equipment. But it was also important for us that they got to work on a real project in order to really get a feel of the gear. In that discussion we came up with the idea of the L.Brador Kids House, a play house for kids, built for the Musikhjälpen 2018 charity event, says Jonas Ivarsson, L.Brador Workwear.
Musikhjälpen is a Swedish week-long live radio and TV broadcast. The mission is to create awareness and raise money for a humanitarian cause. Musikhjälpen is starting on the 10th of December.
The L.Brador Kids House is under construction and is planned to be finished during the spring and is then delivered to the person putting down the winning bid in the auction.
The project is made possible thanks to local companies in the Ulricehamn region.
– The support that is shown from the local companies in our region is amazing. The L.Brador Kids House would not been able to construct without their support, says Magnus Persson, Tingsholmsgymnasiet in Ulricehamn.
The auction ends on the 16th of December.
